Product care

To ensure the longevity of your unaruna pieces, the following actions are recommended:

  • It is best not to get your gold-plated or rhodinated jewelry in contact with sand, harsh cleaning products, cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, (metal) sharp objects. These will damage the gold layer and it will eventually disapear.
     

  • Gold plated / rhodiated pieces : the outer layer will wear off at some point, how quick depends on your actions on the points above. The coating can in most cases be renewed for a small fee.
     

  • Activities that can damage your jewelry : sports, cleaning, gardening, working with your hands/tools. Always be careful with these activities or remove your jewelry for these activities.
     

  • Jewelry items can become scratched when they come into contact with one another. Avoid touching them one another when wearing them. I recommend jewelry be stored individually in the unaruna box that you were given at the time of purchase or another suitably lined box or pouch.
     

  • Scratches can be taken out of some pieces of jewelry. Bring it in for maintenance and your piece could be as new. A small fee will be asked.
     

  • Dirty jewelry can be cleaned using a soft toothbrush and warm (ph neutral soapy) water followed by a good rinse in hot water before being wiped with a soft cloth. Or can you can bring it to me and I will clean it for a small fee.
     

  • Sterling silver will tarnish over time. This depends on several factors, including how it’s worn, where it’s stored, and different pH levels of the skin. The silver should be polished occasionally if you want to keep a shine. You can do this yourself with a piece of cotton / leather or bring your piece to me for maintenance. A small fee will be asked.

No Returns

Each piece I make is created with care and tailored to your specific wishes. Because of this custom approach, I cannot accept returns. As a one-person business, it’s simply not possible for me to resell a piece that was made to measure for someone’s unique size and preferences.

That said, your satisfaction is very important to me. If you’re not completely happy with your piece, we can always look together at what adjustments can be made so that you leave with something you truly love.

Warranty on Craftsmanship

I offer a 5-month warranty on craftsmanship, starting from the date of purchase. If anything goes wrong due to a flaw in materials or workmanship, I will repair it at no cost.


This warranty does not cover damage caused by wear, accidents, or loss.

If you experience an issue, please send me a photo along with a short description of the problem before returning the item.
